The Haggar pants are what the Coaches wear (at least our coaches wear).

They are MAGIC!!! The fabric is not a straight cotton and looks more like dress pants than khaki's....and you seriously don't have to iron them. EVER. You can leave them waded up in the dryer for two days...shake em out and by game time...not a wrinkle!!!!

The only thing we really splurge on for the Coach's job.

He spends too many hours in too much sun to risk his eyes. They have always been a favorite, but climbed even higher on my list when the ear piece broke. I Love OAKLEY's customer service. When I called, they totally took care of us (and, just for good measure, I was talking to a surfer boy at their headquarters in Cali).

So I really don't knit or crochet very often...like only twice a year (if that) typically during a weekend in April and October (while watching General Conference). But, how smart is this...keeps everything in one place and not rolling around with the toddler.

So, you guys may laugh, but do you want to know what I'm reading?  Les Miserables...the 1300 page version.  And I'm actually really enjoying it so far.  So far he's only introducing the priest, but it's fascinating.  I know the basic storyline (we read the play in high school).  But I put it on my nightstand next to my scriptures and I realized something...it's bigger than my bible!  Oh well, it may take a year, but I'll read it.

After having read several of Shannon Hales's books (Princess Academy, Goose Girl, Austen Land, & The Actor and the Housewife), Book of a Thousand Days is my favorite. It is the story of a servant who volunteers to go with her mistress when her father sentences her to seven years in a tower for disobeying him. Beautifully told, and a fast read (as it is a youth book).

Are You Kidding?

So I was on the Sams Club website looking for a car battery and was distracted by this deal "GRACO 3-in-1 DELUX TRAVEL SYSTEM" for $49.88. I got really excited...until I found out it is for a doll!!!!! It is very cute, and nicer than my Graco stroller, but I still love my Maclaren doll stroller!
